Board your helicopter for a visit to the sacred shrine of the deity in the picturesque Trikuta Hills. Deccan Charters’s daily heli-service between Katra and Vaishnodevi offers a 5 minute flight from the foothills to the Mata Vaishnodevi shrine. Pilgrims can board the helicopter at Katra and land
a stone’s throw away from the shrine. A God send for those who cannot make the climb.

would otherwise be quite a walk that would take anywhere between four to eight hours.
