Tickets (Passenger Travel Document) can be purchased across the counter at the Katra Helipad subject to availability. Reservations can be made well in advance from any of Deccan Aviation's offices, or Designated Ticketing Agents appointed by us in some cities; the contact numbers are given below. Payments for the same should be made in advance either through Cash or Demand Draft in favor of Deccan Aviation Ltd.

Deccan Aviation suggests a gap of at least four hours between arrival and departure from the shrine in order to avail of a comfortable darshan.

Return flights booked by customers get priority darshan on submission of boarding pass at the Shrine Board Office at Bhavan.
|
|
Baggage allowed per person is limited to 5 kg per adult passenger.
Children above two years are charged full fare.
|

Infants below 2 years are at 5% cost and they would have to be placed on the parents lap. Children above 2 years will be charged the full fare and proof of age is to be produced at the emplaning heliport.

'Priority darshan' is entitled only to return journey passengers. However, the issue of priority slips for this purpose is governed by the Shrine Board through the S.D.M. at Bhavan. While Deccan shall provide assistance for obtaining the priority slips, it shall not be held responsible for any disputes that may arise.

The Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine at Bhavan is 2 km from Sanjichhat helipad and connected by a paved foot route only. On an average, pilgrims may need approximately one hour to proceed to Bhavan, another hour to collect the 'priority darshan' slips from the S.D.M. in room No.8 in Bhavan and complete their darshan to the sanctum sanctorum and a third hour to return to Sanjichat. Hence because of the three hour turn round, customers must be advised to plan return flights accordingly. Return flights may not be possible on the same day when the flight from Katra to Sanjichhat is undertaken in the afternoon.

Deccan Aviation shall make every attempt to accommodate requests for palkis and ponies from Sanjichhat to Bhavan and back, the cost of which shall be borne directly by the passenger. However Deccan Aviation shall not be held responsible if it is unable to provide these facilities for any reason whatsoever.

For booking of a Palki, Deccan Aviation has to pay a booking advance of Rs.1640/- per Palki, while the balance is to be paid by the passenger directly to the Palki owner. In the event of cancellation of the PTD, Deccan Aviation shall not beliable to refund the Palki advance amount. |
